Adventure Crib
STEL partnered with OREA to collaboratively refine the design of the Adventure Crib, advancing an early concept to support and inspire parents to stay active alongside their kids.
Drawing on our industrial design, mechanical engineering, and softgoods development experience, plus insights from high performance outdoor gear, STEL helped refine the product architecture, solve the folding and compression and stability challenges, and finalize key design for manufacturing details that enable the crib’s packability and everyday durability. The result is the OREA Adventure Crib, a pack and play that compresses small enough to strap to a backpack or carry on an airplane, making true mobility possible for families.

Design & Development
To ensure the product delivered on OREA’s vision for the Adventure Crib while meeting child safety standards, STEL used advanced CAD tools and rapid prototyping to design, engineer, validate, and complete design for manufacturing (DFM) work on the crib frame and accessory system.
Creating the Standard
Drawing inspiration from the lightweight materials and construction methods of the outdoor industry and balancing them with the colors and design cues of modern home goods, STEL helped shape and finalize a product that feels equally at home in a living room or at a riverside campsite.
