Pixel Watch 3 – 2023-2024
We created high-fidelity orthographic renders for the new Google Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Watch 3 XL. 2024 is the first year Google has offered an XL version, presenting us with the challenge of maintaining consistency between the existing and new versions. One of our guiding principles at Stel, and especially on this project like this, is that “every detail matters.” Having previously created renders for the Pixel Watch 1 and 2, we aimed to push the level of detail even further to highlight the product’s beauty and ensure Google’s imagery is always state of the art.

Visual Design
Every detail matters
Because we worked on the Pixel Watch 1 and 2, our mission was to push the envelope past what knew we could do. We enhanced these renders by paying close attention to even the smallest details, such as the crown reflection, the puck, and the band reflection on the back of the puck.
Texture you can feel
We created each texture using Illustrator, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, and Keyshot. Though complicated to execute, this is necessary to ensure proper texture mapping, especially with woven textures, since they always present a challenge to achieve high levels of detail and accuracy.
Google maintains a relationship with STEL to continue designing top-of-the-line renders for their upcoming product lines.
